Distortled Box

Distortled Box is an audiovisual project that works since 2007. Its six members, Degon, Nude Boy, Ralp, Sala, Snail and Weldio take care of generating music and visuals exclusively with 8 Bit technology. Some machines like Nintendo Game Boy, Nintendo NES, Commodore 64 and Sega Master System are basically their main sources of music and image, using on them different programs as LSDJ, Nanoloop, MidiNES, Mssiah, Cybertracker, JCH, etc. This collective, established in Barcelona, started his activity after the construction of the portable speaker built on a small shopping car. With one amplificator, two speakers and one battery car, this portable sound system called also Distortled Box enjoys of a special facility of transport and movement offering an authentic improvised 8 Bit mini rave anywhere. Right now we are working on the second version of this famous portable speaker, now more bigger, with more batteries, one subwoofer, psychedelic lights and more power.
